Job summary

March is seeking a mechanically minded Service Engineer to service and maintain pumps, motors and rotating equipment across the UK. You will diagnose faults, perform repairs, and contribute to installation and commissioning works on compressed air systems.

The role suits engineers with experience in maintenance, field service or mechanical fitting who are eager to develop in the compressed air industry. Training will be provided where needed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on compressed air systems and equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using a systematic fault-finding approach.
• Investigate equipment failures and identify root causes to minimise downtime.
• Perform preventative and reactive maintenance activities at customer sites.
• Inspect pumps, motors, compressors, blowers, valves and other rotating equipment.
• Complete equipment installations, upgrades and commissioning works.
• Accurately complete service reports and maintenance documentation.
• Provide technical support and recommendations to customers.
• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with Health & Safety procedures.
• Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and colleagues.
