Job summary

Carrier Rental Systems is seeking a skilled Service Engineer in Paisley to repair and maintain diesel-powered pumps and generators across depot and on-site environments. You will work with a safety-focused team to keep equipment operational and compliant, travelling to customer sites as needed.

The role includes an on-call rota, a base salary with call-out pay, and a supportive, safety-conscious culture within the Pumps & Power division.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience with plant equipment, pumps and generators.
• NVQ Level 3 or an equivalent qualification.
• M&E related apprenticeship or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining, and repairing pumps, generators and diesel-powered equipment in depot and field-based environments.
• Preparing equipment at the depot to ensure it is fully operational before deployment.
• Travelling to customer sites and participating in an on-call rota.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company policies.
