The Company

Our client are an international market leading manufacturer of commercial cleaning equipment and machines. Their range of products includes sweepers, pressure washers, carpet care and floor care machines. These commercial machines are used in a variety of industrial, automotive, manufacturing, public sector and logistics settings. The Role

This is a field based role and we are looking for a multi-skilled Field Service Engineer where you will be tasked with visiting customers servicing, repairing and demonstrating commercial cleaning machines in line with SLA's. As a Field Service Engineer you will carry out reactive repair and service visits as well as some planned maintenance visits.

The role of Field Service Engineer is:

• To provide effective and technically competent breakdown and preventative maintenance services to products and systems at a variety of customer sites.
• To identify and communicate to customers, solutions and problems they encounter with the performance of their equipment such as repair and maintenance.
• To identify changes to individual customer contracts in terms of equipment covered, customer contact information and site requirements and feedback of such information.
• To ensure that any customer reports are completed professionally, and the outcome and recommendations of any visit.
• Provide customer with advice to ensure they are maximizing the potential of their machines.

The Candidate

• Experience as a Field Service Engineer (Electro mechanical or electrical or mechanical)
• Experience servicing equipment such as industrial machines, plant hire, capital equipment, hydraulics, pneumatics, heavy automotive, light automotive, cleaning machines, FLT, Material Handing MHE, White Goods etc are of interest.
