Job summary

Aggreko plc in London or Surrey is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair power generation equipment on customer sites across the region.

You will diagnose faults, respond to breakdowns, complete reports and H&S documentation, and deliver exceptional customer service while representing Aggreko on site. The role requires apprentice-trained or time-served experience in mechanical or electrical disciplines and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Apprentice-trained or time-served in a mechanical or electrical discipline.
• Experience in diesel engines, generators, HVAC, engines (car or HGV) or similar plant equipment.
• Experience in fault-finding across electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Customer-focused, safety-led and comfortable working in a mobile role.
• Holder of a full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair power generation equipment on customer sites.
• Respond to breakdowns and carry out planned maintenance across London and the South East.
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and complete repairs safely and efficiently.
• Complete job reports and H&S documentation accurately.
• Deliver a high level of customer service while representing Aggreko on site.
