Job summary

Aggreko plc is looking for a Field Delivery Engineer (Power Generation) to be based at Sizewell C. The role involves installing, commissioning, maintaining and repairing temporary power solutions to keep a major infrastructure project running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be a qualified Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer with Level 3 qualification, with experience in generators and power systems.

Qualifications

• Qualified Mechanical and/or Electrical Engineer with Level 3 qualification is required.
• Experience with generators, engines, plant machinery or HVAC is preferred.
• Skill in fault diagnosis and problem solving; DSE controllers knowledge is desirable.
• Good communicator able to work independently and build customer relationships.
• Hold a full UK driving licence and be willing to travel, including overnight stays and on-call rota.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission and decommission generators and temporary power equipment on customer site.
• Carry out planned maintenance, servicing and repairs across generators and power systems.
• Respond to breakdowns and emergencies, delivering strong customer service and technical support.
• Configure, diagnose and troubleshoot generator control systems, including DSE controllers.
• Complete service reports and maintenance records accurately and on time.
