Job summary

Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment Ltd is recruiting multiple Field Service Engineers for a leading garage equipment wholesaler, covering a regional patch along the M1 corridor with Nottingham as a preferred base.

You will install, service, maintain and repair garage equipment, perform fault finding and preventive maintenance across diverse sites, and join a team of engineers with ongoing support.

Qualifications

• Field service experience in a relevant sector is essential.
• Experience with electromechanical or hydraulic equipment is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence is required.

Field Service Engineer – Garage Equipment

Multiple roles along M1 Corridor – Ideally based in Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham, Derby, Leicester, Coventry, Northampton or surrounding areas

£35,000 – £40,000 + Overtime + Door to door paid travel

A well-established and growing garage equipment wholesale business is looking to add multiple service engineers to cover a regional patch, working on a catalogue of top of the range garage equipment.

This role is a field based role focused along the M1 corridor. You’ll be joining a team of 30 Service Engineers, supporting a wide range of clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with field service experience, either working on garage equipment or other transferrable service work. You’ll be exposed to a variety of equipment types, manufacturers, and customer environments, making this a varied and rewarding field-based position.

The Role

• Installation, service, maintenance and repair of garage equipment
• Fault finding and breakdown response across customer sites

The Candidate

• Previous experience working on Electromechanical/Hydraulic equipment
• Could be from transferrable industries, eg a forklift engineer or car mechanic
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role
• Full UK driving licence
• Customer-focused approach with strong communication skills

Package

• £35,000 – £40,000 basic salary
