Job summary

Nilfisk is seeking a Field Service Engineer for the North of Scotland. The role includes demonstration and installation of cleaning equipment at client sites, staff training, and performing field service across Northern Scotland to ensure smooth operation.

The successful candidate will carry out repairs within contracted SLAs, make follow-up calls for parts, perform PAT tests, and schedule maintenance. A van, phone, iPad, uniform and training are provided; weekday work only.

Qualifications

• Solid understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair various machines.
• Excellent client communication and service attitude.
• Ability to analyse problems and develop effective solutions quickly.
• Strong time management to meet service SLAs.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance.
• Ability to adapt to different job sites and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Follow health and safety rules and technician procedures on all sites.
• Capture client data accurately and update jobs in real time.
• Provide detailed reports after each site visit.
• Order parts via central database and maintain van stock levels.
• Keep company vehicle in top condition.
• Delivery, installation and training demonstrations of equipment at client sites.
