Job summary

TRS Consulting is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair high-value medical diagnostic systems across NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments. You will visit customer sites, diagnose faults, and provide effective solutions.

Full product training is provided; a qualification in electronics and field service experience are preferred. The role includes a competitive package with a basic salary up to £48,000, an £8,500 car allowance and a £4,000 bonus, plus healthcare

Qualifications

• A competent background as a field service engineer or technical support engineer with extensive experience working on high value capital equipment and a qualification in electronics
• Experience on diagnostic systems, medical devices, laboratory systems, or high value electro-mechanical equipment is beneficial

Responsibilities

• The service and breakdown repair on a wide range of sophisticated medical and laboratory diagnostics systems
• Visiting customer sites and provide customers with valuable solutions for troubleshooting
• Liaising with laboratory managers and technicians from NHS and private labs
