Hunter Selection is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer to service high-speed conveyor systems across the UK. You will perform on-site inspections, planned maintenance, and client training on complex equipment.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical skills with gears, bearings, shafts, belts.
• Excellent fault finding and problem-solving ability.
• Experience with material handling equipment and conveyors is beneficial.
• Role suits an engineer seeking autonomy and travel across UK.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer sites and service/PPM high-speed conveyor systems.
• Provide onsite fault finding, troubleshooting and repair of machinery.
• Provide onsite training for customers.
• Prepare timely service reports with detailed information.
• Work on vertical elevating equipment such as pallet hoists, box lifters and bucket elevators.
• Cover the entire UK with regular stays away and occasional weekend/night work.
