Job summary

Hunter Selection is assisting a well-established international organisation to recruit a Service & Maintenance Engineer. You will service, calibrate, maintain and repair specialist equipment at customer sites and in the workshop, combining field service with in-house maintenance.

You will travel regularly across the UK and occasionally Europe, with opportunities to develop skills in diagnostics, installation and documentation.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification accepted (City & Guilds, ONC, HNC or equivalent).
• Experience servicing, fault finding and repairing electrical/electro-mechanical equipment.
• Excellent diagnostic and problem‑solving skills, with a methodical approach.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel; good communication with customers.

Responsibilities

• Service, calibrate, fault-find and repair equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Install and commission equipment; produce service documentation.
• Liaise with customers and support site maintenance activities.
