Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is looking for a Field Service Engineer based in the UK, with a mechanical background and hydraulic knowledge, to travel across the UK and Ireland installing, servicing, and repairing automotive recycling equipment. You will work 95% in the field, with weekly site visits to collect stock and a schedule of Monday to Thursday, 7:30–17:30, plus travel.

A company van, training, and perks are provided.

• Good hydraulic knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence.

Are you a Field Service Engineer from a mechanical background, with good hydraulic knowledge, looking to join a family-run manufacturer that provides excellent training and regular travel across the UK?

The company on offer specialise in the manufacture, installation and service of automotive recycling equipment. This includes depollution systems and dismantling equipment.

Your role will be 95% field based, travelling to sites across the UK and Ireland. You will install, service, maintain and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical recycling equipment. Travel to office once a week will be required to collect stock.

Hotels and meal allowances will be provided where needed. Full training on all products will be given, additionally training on compressors and vehicle lifts can be arranged.

The suitable candidate will be a Mobile Engineer, who is proficient in mechanical and hydraulic systems.

The Role
