Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Heavy Industrial) in the Birmingham area to service and repair large industrial equipment across the UK. You will work door-to-door on crushers, screeners and shredders, with full manufacturer training and significant optional overtime to boost earnings.

The role offers national travel, hands-on maintenance of hydraulics, engines and gears, and a strong emphasis on field service with training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience repairing heavy industrial equipment in field or workshop settings.
• National UK travel experience or willingness to travel extensively across the UK.
• Manufacturer training provided to expand skillset.

Responsibilities

• Attend door-to-door breakdowns at client sites across the UK.
• Repair and maintain heavy industrial equipment including hydraulics, motors and gears.
• Diagnose faults and perform repairs on heavy plant equipment.
• Work Monday–Friday with optional overtime for enhanced earnings.

Field Service Engineer (Heavy Industrial)

£45,000-£50,000 + 60K OTE Overtime + Company Van + Door to Door Pay + National Travel

Are you a Service Engineer from a heavy industrial or plant background looking to join a rapidly growing company, offering the chance to work on exciting, high-tech machinery with ongoing manufacturer training and a substantial amount optional overtime to significantly boost your earnings?

In this role you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of heavy industrial equipment for the construction and recycling industries. You will be working door-to-door in a UK wide patch on world leading crushers, screeners and shredders, fault finding by repairing gears, engines, hydraulics and motors. You will be given full manufacturer training to expand your skillset.

Since 2014, this company have been the leading distributors in crushing, screening and recycling equipment serving waste industries across the UK and Ireland. After four years of consistent doubling, they are looking to continue this period of prosperity and bring in an Engineer who they can invest in.

This would suit a Field Service Engineer from a Heavy Industrial background looking for a company that will offer consistent training, the opportunity to grow and generous overtime.

The Role:

• Attending door-to-door breakdowns at client sites across the UK
• Repairing and maintaining heavy industrial equipment
• Maintenance of hydraulics systems, motors, gears and engines
• Monday – Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Optional overtime available
