Professional Technical Ltd in the United Kingdom is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join our team covering EH and TD postcodes. You will maintain, service and repair material handling equipment on customer sites, from pallet trucks to IC and automated trucks, in your postcode area.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.
• Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery all considered.
• Technical experience in engines, electrics (diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, service and repair material handling equipment on customer sites within the postcode area.
• Diagnose and rectify faults on forklifts and related equipment; perform preventative maintenance.
• Manage own work in progress and complete paperwork accurately; attend regular training.

Responsibilities of the Field Service Engineer

• You will be in control of the maintenance, service, and repairs of material handling equipment on various customer sites within your postcode area. You will be working with an assortment of equipment including electric trucks. Managing your own work in progress, ensuring all relevant paperwork is completed accurately, attend regular training courses to maintain up-to-date knowledge of equipment, and be an active team player sustaining the company's prestigious reputation. You will be working with everything from small pallet trucks, through to IC trucks, VNA trucks, and automated trucks, you will be required to find, diagnose, and rectify faults, and undertake preventative maintenance on forklifts and other material handling equipment at their customer sites.

Requirements of the Field Service Engineer

• NVQ Level 3 qualification is essential - Certificates will be required
• Vehicle Technician, HGV Technician or Roadside Recovery all considered.
• Technical experience in Engines, Electrics (Diagnostics) and/or hydraulics.
