Job summary

Recruit4staff is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and other material handling equipment across the North West. You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnose faults while providing after-sales support on site.

The role requires strong fault-finding and mechanical/electrical experience, a driving licence, and a customer-focused approach. It is a permanent, 40-hour week position offering company benefits including a van for personal use and

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Excellent fault-finding and troubleshooting ability.
• Mechanical and electrical service and maintenance experience.
• Experience with preventative and reactive maintenance work.
• Good ICT skills with strong written and verbal communication.
• Excellent customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Attend customer sites to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Recruit4staff are representing a well-established material handling solutions provider in their search for a Field Service Engineer to work across the North West.

Job Role

Attending customer sites to carry out service, maintenance, and repairs on a wide range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment. The role involves both preventative maintenance and reactive breakdown work, including diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and software faults. You will also provide technical support and after-sales assistance to customers as required.

Job Details

• Pay: Up to £36,000 per annum
• Hours of Work: 40 hours per week, 8:30am - 5pm
• Duration: Permanent

• Electrical Engineering qualifications
