Job Description

Job Role: Mobile Forklift Engineer

Location: Leicester, Leicestershire (accepting applications from surrounding counties)

Salary: £35,000-£40,000 per annum (£45,000+ OTE) - Apply online only

Hours: Monday-Friday (Flexible 07:00-16:00 / 08:00-17:00), 40 hours per week + overtime at enhanced rate

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

Package includes: Company van + Fuel Card, all travel time and expenses paid from home to/from site, fantastic earning potential with scope to progress, overtime available at enhanced rate, 30 days holiday including bank holidays, ongoing training and progression, pension scheme

The Duties:

1. Travel to client sites to diagnose faults, service, and carry out emergency repairs/breakdowns on forklifts.
2. Collaborate with customers regarding lifting and handling products.
3. Work independently within customer sites and collaborate with colleagues to ensure documentation and solutions are provided.
4. Travel to sites to repair equipment and create solutions.
5. Work on engines, batteries, pneumatics, hydraulics, and perform mechanical and electrical fault finding and repairs.

The Requirements:

• Previous experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical, and electrical capabilities (essential)
• Electrical and/or Mechanical fault finding, repair, and service experience (advantageous)
• Experience in the Forklift, Plant, HGV, and/or Agricultural industries (advantageous)
• Experience working with engines and batteries (advantageous)
• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ or City and Guilds in mechanical/electrical engineering (advantageous)
• Full UK Driver's License
