Wärtsilä is seeking an Engineer, Field Service to be based in Northern Ireland, reporting to the Fareham location. You will independently execute field service activities including overhaul, repair and troubleshooting across Wärtsilä products in a safety-conscious environment.

The role requires a BSc in Engineering with at least 3 years’ experience, strong English, and willingness to travel up to 200 days/year within the UK and abroad.

Competenze

• BSc degree in Engineering and/or proven field service experience (3 years).
• Experience with Wärtsilä products is beneficial.
• Willing to travel and work UK/abroad up to 200 days per year.
• Strong ability to read technical instructions and drawings.
• Excellent English, both spoken and written.

Mansioni

• Independently execute Field Service activities such as overhaul, repair and basic troubleshooting.
• Adhere to local work instructions for overhauling components.
• Ensure on-site activities comply with safety rules and Health & Safety obligations.
• Coordinate with On-Site Team Leader/Service Coordinator for progress and deadlines.
• Interface with customers on-site for inquiries and technical queries.
• Promote Wärtsilä products and solutions to customers.
• Submit timesheets and expense sheets weekly.
• Prepare accurate service work reports within 48 hours of return.
• Assist with ad-hoc duties and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Be prepared to undertake additional duties as circumstances require.
