Job description

Hours: 40 Hours Monday to Friday - 8.30am - 4.30pm

We are currently seeking a Field Service Engineer with a strong background working with Plant or Heavy Machinery. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their daily activities while ensuring all compliance and environmental regulations are followed at all times.

What you'll be doing:

1. Diagnosing faults on machinery, repairing, and testing
2. Using PDA to receive instructions
3. Maintaining quality while aiming to complete work within set timeframes
4. Ensuring all safety standards are maintained during and after maintenance
5. Providing full written descriptions of all work carried out
6. Communicating repairs and vehicle concerns directly with customers

Qualifications and Experience:

• NVQ Level 3 (Mechanical, Electrical, or Plant-based) or Time Served
• Full UK Driving Licence required
• Ability to work independently
• Proficiency in using handheld PDA
• Ability to complete and sign off job cards
• High attention to detail and quality control
