Job summary

TalentTech Recruitment Ltd is recruiting a Field Service Engineer to service and repair materials testing equipment across UK & Ireland, with sites in the Rotherham area. The role involves hands-on mechanical and electrical work and occasional overnight stays, supported by a company vehicle and training package.

The ideal candidate has electrical fault-finding experience, a mechanical/electrical background, and a full UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical fault finding with a multimeter.
• Strong mechanical and electrical understanding.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK with no sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ppm, service, and breakdown repairs to materials testing and preparation lab equipment.
• Hands-on with mechanical and electrical equipment with some electronic fault-finding.
• Visit manufacturing and research facilities as required.
• Access equipment remotely to carry out diagnostics.
• Follow a Monday–Friday 37.5-hour week; expect ~1 night away per week.
