TalentTech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair materials preparation machinery across the UK & Ireland. The role involves visiting laboratories, performing ppm and breakdown repairs, and conducting fault diagnosis with mechanical and electrical equipment.

A Monday–Friday, 37.5-hour week with roughly one night away is typical. The ideal candidate will have electrical fault-finding experience, a solid mechanical/electrical background, and excellent

Qualifications

• Experience with electrical fault-finding using a multimeter.
• Hands-on mechanical and electrical engineering knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
• Existing field service experience advantageous.
• Armed forces background welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Carry out ppm, servicing and breakdown repairs on lab equipment.
• Work hands-on with mechanical and electrical gear and fault-finding.
• Visit customer facilities and perform remote diagnostics where applicable.
• Support travel requirements with occasional overnight stays.
• Maintain accurate service reports and safety standards.
