Job summary

T H White Group is seeking a Specialist Dealer Service Engineer to service and repair Palfinger lorry loader cranes across the region. You will be trained as a product/diagnostic crane specialist with structured development and ongoing technical training.

The role involves regular travel and delivering on-site support, with full UK driving license required and a strong emphasis on safe, compliant servicing and customer training. A market leading salary and extensive overtime are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer maintaining hydraulic lifting equipment such as taillifts, forklifts or similar machinery.
• Recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification.
• Full UK driving licence is essential.

Hours:

Our field service engineers work 40 hours a week, between our operational hours of 07:00-18:00 Monday – Friday.

Additional overtime (paid at a Tx1.5) is available should you want to earn more.

Key Duties Will Include:

Travelling across the region delivering on‑site engineering support to our own brand of lorry loader cranes, including:

• Regular crane servicing.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic, electrical & software faults on customer sites.
• Performing LOLER inspections and safety checks to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Providing expert technical support and training to customers.

The Ideal Applicant:

Experience as a Service Engineer maintaining similar hydraulic lifting equipment such as material handling machines /forklifts, agricultural machinery, powered access equipment or taillifts is required.

Applicants should hold a recognised apprenticeship, C&G or NVQ in Plant Maintenance or a similar qualification.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
