Job summary

Kalmar in Shrewsbury is seeking a Field Service Engineer to join their Talent Pool. This role involves maintaining and troubleshooting Kalmar and third-party equipment, ensuring optimal performance through maintenance and inspections.

Qualifications

• Must have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics.

Field Service Engineers handle maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting on Kalmar and third‑party equipment, ensuring peak performance through inspections and routine upkeep. What you bring to the role

• Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.
• Skills: Expertise in heavy plant or material handling equipment, with multi‑skilled proficiency in hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems.
• Technical Abilities: Proven experience in fault finding and diagnostics, including CANBUS systems and electrical wiring diagrams.
• Experience: Previous work in a similar role, ideally with Kalmar products.
• Adaptability: A head for heights and a readiness to thrive in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
