Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is working with a leading defence tech company to recruit a Field Service Engineer for international travel. Based in Enfield, you will install, commission, service and fault-find specialist electronic and defence systems.

Expect UK travel and opportunities for international site visits, with funded training and clear career progression. The role is 37 hours per week, Mon-Fri 9:30-5:00, with optional overtime paid at 1.5x.

Qualifications

• Experience as a field service engineer or technician in electronic/defence systems.
• Able to travel UK and international sites on a regular basis.
• Competent in installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding.

Responsibilities

• Install, commission, service and fault-find specialist electronic and defence systems.
• Travel across the UK and abroad to client sites.

Are you a Service Engineer looking to join a thriving and established company offering exciting opportunities for fully funded international travel, specialist electrical training and long-term career progression?

In this role, you will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, servicing, fault-finding and testing of specialist electronic and defence systems. You will travel extensively across the UK, with opportunities for international travel to client sites. You will also receive comprehensive training, including working at height, to further develop your technical skills and expertise.

Established in 2017, this leading defence technology company specialises in the development of advanced sensor systems. With ambitious plans to expand its workforce and strengthen its presence across the UK and international markets, the company is looking to bring in additional engineers to support its continued growth and global operations.

This role would suit a Service Engineer who is looking to work internationally and gain full on specialist electrical training to upskill your career.

The Role:

• Working from Heights
• Commissioning, installing and fault finding of specialist defence systems
• Travelling across the UK and abroad
• Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 5:00pm, 37 hour week
• Varied shift times when working abroad
• Optional overtime, paid at 1.5x
