Rise Technical Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Electronics / Marine) based in Enfield, North London. You will travel across the UK to install, commission, service and fault-find specialist electronic systems on naval vessels, commercial ships and shore equipment.

The role suits an engineer with an Electronics/Electrical/Communications or Marine background, who enjoys technical challenges and has opportunities for progression through ongoing specialist training.

Qualifications

• Electronics background with fault-finding experience.
• Basic networking knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
• Willingness to travel UK for site visits.

Responsibilities

• UK travel to naval vessels, commercial ships and customer sites across the UK.
• Specialist technical training with a 37-hour week and overtime as required.

This company are a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced systems supplied into the Marine and Defence sectors. Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their specialist engineering team.

In this varied role, you will travel to customer sites across the UK, carrying out installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding on specialist electronic systems. You will work on naval vessels, commercial ships and shore-based equipment, receiving ongoing technical training.

This role would suit an Engineer with an Electronics or Electrical background looking for a technically challenging position with international travel, specialist training and long-term progression.

The Role:

• Installation, commissioning, servicing and fault-finding on electronic / communication systems.
• UK travel to naval vessels, commercial ships and customer sites.
• Specialist technical training, Monday - Friday, 37-hour working week with additional hours when required.

The Person:

• Field Service Engineer / Electronics Engineer / Electrical Engineer / Communications Engineer.
• Electronics fault-finding experience and basic networking knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence and valid passport.
