Job summary
Dover Imaging & Identification (DII) is seeking a Technical Service Engineer to support customers across Yorkshire. You will install, commission, service and repair equipment, while building strong customer relationships and providing first-class service.
The role requires field service experience in industrial settings, a full UK driving license, and the ability to diagnose issues and deliver proactive solutions. Travel to customer sites and regular technical training are expected.
Qualifications
- Field service experience in industrial/manufacturing sectors with electrical/mechanical focus.
- Full UK driving license.
- Ability to diagnose issues and provide proactive solutions.
- Strong time management and multi-tasking in dynamic environments.
- Certifications in engineering, networking or software are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Perform installation, commissioning, service and repair of equipment.
- Provide training to customers as needed.
- Complete service reports with parts used and faults/solutions.
- Travel to customer sites across Yorkshire with occasional national travel.
- Build strong relationships through first-class service.
- Attend technical training to expand product knowledge.
