WR Engineering is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to provide nationwide service and technical support for industrial ovens. The role offers a permanent, full-time position with strong earning potential through overtime and a company van.

Ideal candidates have proven field service experience, solid electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills, and a full UK driving licence. Expect extensive nationwide travel and on-site work across the UK.

Qualifications

• Experience in field service or similar technical engineering role.
• Experience with industrial ovens or heating equipment is desirable.
• Strong fault-finding skills in electrical, mechanical and control systems.

Responsabilités

• Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on industrial ovens.
• Attend customer sites nationwide to diagnose and resolve faults.
• Complete planned maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Commission and test equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Travel nationwide, including overnight stays, as required.
• Provide technical support and complete service reports.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Field Service Engineer to join a growing industrial equipment business, providing nationwide service and technical support for industrial ovens.This is an excellent opportunity for an engineer with a strong background in industrial ovens, industrial heating equipment or associated process machinery, looking for a varied role with excellent earning potential through overtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out installation, servicing, maintenance and repairs on industrial ovens.
• Attend customer sites nationwide to diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Commission and test equipment, ensuring systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Carry out fault-finding across electrical, mechanical and control systems.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work undertaken.
• Travel nationwide, including overnight stays where required.
• Work closely with internal engineering and technical teams to resolve customer issues.

What We're Looking For

• Previous experience as a Field Service Engineer, Service Engineer or similar technical engineering role.
• Experience working with industrial ovens is extremely desirable.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with industrial heating equipment, furnaces or associated process machinery would be advantageous.
• Ability to diagnose faults and carry out repairs independently.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable with nationwide travel and overnight stays.
• Full UK driving licence.
