Job summary

Vertu Garage Assist, part of VertuPLC, is seeking engineers to support the Oxford area. The role is field-based across our dealer network, focusing on maintenance of vehicle lifts and garage equipment, with full training provided.

You will travel to sites, perform repairs, and compile reports to meet safety standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, a full UK driving license, and a readiness to travel with occasional

Qualifications

• Experience of working with mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and electrical equipment.
• Maintenance, inspection and breakdown repairs experience.
• Willingness to travel and overnight stays.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Full UK driving license.

Responsibilities

• Vehicle Lift Maintenance to BS7980.
• Maintenance on general garage equipment.
• Breakdown & Repair Works.
• Compiling Reports & Recommendations.
• Control of Van Stock (consumables, lubricants and small components).
