Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mechanical) to service, repair and maintain forklift trucks and related materials handling equipment across Wiltshire and surrounding areas. You will receive extensive product training, a company van and door-to-door pay, with overtime opportunities and a clear long‑term career path.

The role requires hands-on mechanical work, fault diagnosis and travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Experience working with forklifts, plant and other materials handling equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Willingness to travel within Wiltshire and surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on customer and company forklift trucks.
• Diagnose faults on gas, diesel and electric machinery.
• Complete inspections and prepare machines for hire.
• Travel to customer sites across Wiltshire and surrounding areas.
