Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Forklifts) in the Northeast, covering Newcastle and surrounding areas. You will service, diagnose and repair electrical and diesel forklifts at customer sites, with full product training and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Forklift Engineer with field-based role.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Full UK driving license.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
• Attending customer sites across the Northeast
• Completing service reports and necessary paperwork
• Managing your own van stock and tools
• Providing a professional service to customers
