Ernest Gordon Recruitment is helping a family‑oriented, independent business recruit a Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklifts across the Northeast. You will work from Cramlington, receive full product training, a company van and ongoing progression opportunities.

The role includes servicing, diagnostics, and on‑site customer support with overtime to boost earnings. The position requires hands‑on mechanical and electrical fault finding, a full UK driving license and the ability to

Competenze

• Experience as forklift engineer servicing forklifts across customer sites.
• Full UK driving license and ability to travel in the Northeast.
• Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding capabilities.

Mansioni

• Servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and material handling equipment.
• Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults.
• Carrying out preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs.
• Attending customer sites across the Northeast.
• Completing service reports and paperwork.
• Managing van stock and tools.
• Providing a professional service to customers.
• 8:00am-16:30pm with overtime available.
