Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited in Worthing is seeking a Mobile Maintenance Engineer (Vehicle Technician / Mechanic) to service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment at customer sites across Sussex, with door-to-door pay and ongoing training.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults, undertake planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, and travel within a Sussex coastal patch with occasional travel to Kent.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing cars, vans, HGVs, plant or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and materials handling equipment.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Attend breakdowns and carry out planned preventative maintenance at customer sites.
• Cover a predominantly Sussex coastal patch, with occasional travel into Kent.
• Receive ongoing training and technical support.
