Interaction Recruitment PLC is seeking a Field Service Engineer to cover Epsom and surrounding area, home-based with customer site visits for forklifts and material handling equipment. Earn £37,000–£42,000 with overtime boosting earnings and extensive manufacturer training.

You will service, diagnose and repair across diesel, petrol, LPG and electric forklifts, with full driving licence required and a clear progression path within a national business.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills.
• Good hydraulic and electrical knowledge.
• Experience with engines on mobile equipment.
• Ability to work independently.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsabilités

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks.

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 Basic Salary (OTE - £50,000+)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 (42.5 Hour Week)

Total Earnings: £50,000+

Based on a £42,000 Basic Salary

• 5 Hours Overtime per Week @ 1.5x

Approx. Additional Earnings: £7,400 per year

Total Earnings: £49,400+

Approx. Additional Earnings: £14,800 per year

The Role

As a Field Service Engineer, you will work from home attending customer sites throughout your designated territory, carrying out planned maintenance, servicing and breakdown repairs on a range of forklift trucks and material handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining forklift trucks
• Diagnosing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults
• Attending breakdowns and carrying out reactive repairs
• Completing planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Repairing (Diesel, Petrol, LPG, Electric) engines, drive systems, hydraulics and electrical components
• Recording all work completed via engineer reports
• Managing your workload efficiently while maintaining high standards of workmanship
