Job summary

Adler and Allan in Airdrie is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer to perform PPM, servicing and installation on environmental protection equipment. You will operate across customer sites to keep systems running safely and efficiently.

Working with our Operations teams, you’ll apply technical knowledge to identify issues, support surveys and deliver practical solutions that meet client requirements and industry standards. You must be willing to travel and adapt to on-site demands.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of single and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.
• Good understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
• Knowledge of separator and interceptor systems and relevant standards is advantageous.
• Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.
• Experience preparing RAMS documentation.
• Flexible approach to working hours and travel, with ability to respond to emergencies.
• Good IT skills and report preparation using Word/Excel/Email.
• Valid UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards and client requirements.
• Conduct planned preventative maintenance, servicing and installation across environmental protection equipment.
• Identify, troubleshoot and resolve on-site technical issues.
• Support site surveys and prepare estimates and client proposals.
• Complete required job documentation accurately and submit within timescales.
