Job summary

Adler and Allan in Airdrie is seeking a Field Service Engineer to perform planned preventative maintenance, servicing and installation across environmental protection equipment, helping customer sites operate safely and efficiently.

You will work with Operations to identify and resolve issues, support site surveys, prepare scopes of work and RAMS, and complete on-site documentation while maintaining a strong safety culture and flexible travel as required.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of single- and three-phase motors and electrical control panels.
Understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles.
Knowledge of separator and interceptor systems and relevant industry standards.
Knowledge of sewage treatment plants and pumping stations.
Experience preparing, issuing and completing RAMS documentation.
Willingness to travel and respond to emergency works as required.
Good IT skills, including MS Word, Excel and email, with ability to prepare clear reports.
Full UK driving licence and right to work in the UK.
Willingness to undertake additional training to develop technical skills.

Responsibilities

Carry out site audits to ensure compliance with Adler and Allan standards, client requirements and safe working practices.
Promote a strong safety culture and deliver a professional service at all times.
Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues on site.
Support the installation, decommissioning and servicing of interceptor systems and environmental protection equipment.
Prepare scopes of work, RAMS and method statements.
Complete all required job documentation accurately and submit paperwork within agreed timescales.
