An exciting Field Service Engineer position has arisen with a market-leading company. The role involves using your IT expertise and fault-finding skills to diagnose and repair faults on advanced simulators. These simulators are crucial for training, and your work will directly impact the learning experience.

This position is home-based with travel across Northern England, Scotland, Belfast, and Dublin. A full driver's license and valid passport are required.

We seek candidates with a background in electronic or mechanical engineering, with experience in diagnosing and repairing components and systems. Experience with Windows products is a plus.

Full training will be provided.

The salary is up to £30,000, depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Service, repair, maintain, and upgrade specialist training simulators
  • Travel to client sites for maintenance and repairs
  • Assist in root cause analysis of field failures to improve equipment quality
  • Address customer problems and inquiries
  • Provide excellent customer service via phone and face-to-face
  • Adapt to various demands of the role
