Job summary

Mastella Ventures Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, repair, install and commission electro-mechanical security equipment across Swindon area and beyond. The role involves travel to prestigious sites, some overnight stays, and 1 in 4 weeks standby with paid call-out.

The package includes a base salary of £40,000–£45,000, unlimited overtime paid door to door, and an OTE of £55k+, along with a company vehicle, tools, and 22 days holiday (rising to 25).

Qualifications

• Mechanical hydraulics maintenance and repair experience.
• Electrical fault-finding with 3-phase systems and control knowledge.
• Industrial machinery background.
• UK driving licence and ability to pass security clearance checks.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, install & commission electro-mechanical equipment including security systems.
• Travel to sites including MOD, airports and infrastructure projects.
• Standby 1 in 4 weeks with standby pay and call-out payments.
• Work autonomously on site with support from a team during projects.

The role

• Service, repair, install & commission a wide range of electro-mechanical equipment - anti terror security equipment includng Security Gating systems, road blockers, rising bollards, turnstyles and Hostile Vehicle Management systems.
• Sites include prestigious sites aswell as MOD sites , Airports, Utilities & Infrastructure, and more.
• Based within Swindon area with some travel further when required for installation projects and 1–2 nights away/month (all expenses paid/ meal allowance)
• 1 in 4 weeks on standby with a standby allowance and call out payments.

You’ll need

• mechanical hydraulics maintenance and repair experience
• electrical - 3-phase systems & fault-finding with some knowledge of control systems, however training can be provided for the right candidate.
• Industrial machinery background
• UK driving licence and able to pass Security Clearance Checks
