  • Lead site activities under the direction of the Project Manager, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with customer requirements.

  • Maintain project documentation, quality records, commissioning checklists and service reports, helping to resolve technical issues and support continuous improvement activities.

  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and act as an ambassador for Hitachi Energy whilst identifying potential service opportunities and customer requirements.

  • Apply all safety rules, environmental requirements and safe working practices whilst proactively identifying hazards and implementing actions to ensure the safety of personnel, equipment and customer assets.

Your Background:

  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671) qualification essential.

  • Proven experience as an Electrician, Wireman, Electrical Installation Engineer or Electrical Field Service Engineer.

  • Experience in the installation, termination and testing of control, instrumentation and power cabling.

  • Experience with panel wiring, control systems, switchgear, transformers, substations or industrial electrical installations would be advantageous.

  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring schematics, cable schedules and engineering documentation.

  • Experience leading site teams, coordinating subcontractors or supervising engineering activities is desirable.

  • Site safety qualifications such as IPAF, PASMA, CCNSG, CSCS or equivalent would be beneficial, although training will be provided.

  • Full UK driving licence.
