Job Description: Hitachi Energy has an exciting opportunity to join our Transformers business as a Field Service Engineer (Electrical). You'll contribute to the execution of the service strategy and service growth by delivering timely, high-quality, cost-effective service offerings, solutions and engineering projects for customers across the UK. Working as part of a team of experienced engineers and technicians, you'll support the electrical installation, wiring, testing, commissioning and maintenance of large power transformers, associated control systems and ancillary equipment. You will play a key role in delivering safe and efficient service activities whilst maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced electricians, wiremen and electrical installation engineers to develop specialist expertise within the power industry and support critical energy infrastructure projects across the UK. Please note: This is a highly mobile, field-based role that requires extensive travel throughout the UK. Successful candidates should expect frequent overnight stays away from home, extended periods working on customer sites, and occasional weekend working as part of normal project delivery requirements.
