Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Electrical) to service, repair and install electrical rotating equipment across the UK. You will operate a provided van and join a second engineer, with full training offered.

The role is Monday to Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm, with overtime paid at 1.5x and typically 2–3 nights away per week, covering generators, alternators, motors. Leicester area listed as base.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience required.
• Field service background desirable.
• Willingness to travel UK with overnight stays.

Are you a Service Engineer from an electrical background, looking to join a market-leading company who will invest heavily into your career, through ongoing shadowing and training courses on specialist equipment such as generators and alternators?

In this field-based role you will be covering the UK in a provided van working with another Engineer to service, repair and install generators, motors, transformers and related equipment. You will receive further training through the internal academy, then assisting in the local workshop when needed.

Founded 15 years ago, this company have grown exponentially over recent years and are now looking to add to their team to continue their expansion. They repair, service and maintain a range of rotating equipment across the UK and overseas within Rail, Healthcare, Schools, and Data Centres for example.

This role would suit a Service Engineer with electrical experience, looking to continue your professional development within a varied role covering the UK.
