Job summary

GEA Group is seeking a motivated Service Engineer to service homogenisers and centrifugal separation equipment across the United Kingdom. The role requires strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills, with extensive travel and overnight stays, ideally based in the North of England.

The successful candidate will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs while maintaining safety, quality and customer service at the highest standard.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical knowledge essential.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, schematics and documentation.
• Experience servicing industrial processing equipment in food, beverage, dairy or pharma sectors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections and servicing of homogenisers and centrifugal separation equipment.
• Carry out planned maintenance contracts per service procedures and customer requirements.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults; respond to breakdowns.
• Provide technical advice and operational guidance to customers and build lasting relationships.
• Produce detailed service reports with findings, repairs and recommendations.
• Travel across the United Kingdom with weekend cover and on-call rotation.
