Job summary

Bandai Namco Amusement Europe Ltd. is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service, install and maintain arcade machines across Brighton, Crawley, Worthing and Eastbourne.

You will travel between sites, perform diagnostics, preventative maintenance and monetary collections where required, and communicate with the Regional Service Manager to ensure smooth operations and high levels of customer service.

• Servicing and maintaining arcade machines including preventative maintenance and testing across assigned areas.
• Perform monetary collections where required and handle cash according to standards.
• Communicate regularly with Regional Service Manager and Supervisor and adhere to monthly rota.
• Maintain organized administrative tasks and effective communication via email and other platforms.
• Build rapport with site staff/managers to develop business with major customers and prospects.
• Execute ad hoc duties as reasonably requested by Regional Manager/Supervisor.

The Role

Our services department is one that capsulizes a great team of multi-disciplinary roles that all contribute to our arcade industry. We have an exciting opportunity in this services department to join the Bandai Namco family as a Field Service Engineer in and around the Crawley / Brighton areas. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be involved in every aspect of providing our key accounts with a professional service; attending sites for installing new machines, carrying out diagnostic and preventative protective maintenance, performing monetary collections and most importantly, playing the games to make sure they’re fun and functional!

Job Description

• Servicing and maintaining arcade machines including carrying out preventative maintenance, testing for all types of games sited within a specific area and complete service call logs.
• Perform monetary collections where required and handle cash responsibly according to BNAE standards.
• To communicate regularly and effectively with your Regional Service Manager and Supervisor, working to the Rota produced by them on a monthly basis.
• Keep organised with administrative tasks and maintain effective communication via email and other platforms where used.
• Build a rapport with Site Staff/Managers and continue to develop the company’s business with its existing major customers and future prospects.
• Perform ad hoc duties reasonably requested by your Regional Manager/Supervisor.
