Liebherr-Great Britain Ltd. in Biggleswade seeks a Service Engineer for Crawler Cranes & Foundation Machines to service, inspect, and repair equipment at customer sites or depots. You will diagnose faults, ensure timely repairs, and maintain safety standards while supporting customers with responsive service that builds trust.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of a recognised apprenticeship in a related industry to NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
• Work experience within heavy plant or a relevant industry.
• CSCS Card
• Slinger and signaller.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing, inspection, and repair of foundation machinery and equipment at customer premises, on site, or at the depot.
• Diagnosing specific faults and taking appropriate action.
• Returning warranty parts, cleaned and on time, ensuring correct packing and labelling processes.
• Ensuring all service information is read, understood, and filed.
• Undertaking work in compliance with manufacturer guidelines and recommendations.
• Escalating action for broken or damaged company equipment.
• Developing relationships with the depot support team and customers.
• Maintaining a healthy and safe working environment and completing paperwork on time.
• Coordinating with customers to understand their needs and meet them with a flexible approach.
