Job summary

Mantis Cranes Ltd is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to support our expanding customer base across the UK. The role involves installing, maintaining and providing technical support on tower cranes and lifting equipment at customer sites nationwide.

You'll carry out maintenance, fault-finding across electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, with a focus on safety, documentation and on-site customer service. A full UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Engineer, Field Service Engineer, Plant Engineer or Crane Engineer.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Experience working with plant equipment, lifting equipment, cranes or construction machinery.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Installing and dismantling tower cranes and lifting equipment.
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance and inspections.
• Diagnosing and repairing electrical, hydraulic and mechanical faults.
• Responding to breakdowns and supporting customers on-site.
• Completing service documentation and compliance records.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely and professionally.
