Job summary

LinX Printing Technologies, a Veralto company, is seeking a Field Service Engineer in Reading, UK. You will install, service, repair, and maintain our coding and marking products across the UK, building strong customer relationships and ensuring equipment operates to required standards.

The successful candidate should have at least two years in a technical field service or customer service role, hold a full UK driving licence, and be willing to travel to sites across the Midlands and beyond,

Qualifications

• At least two years’ experience in a technical or engineering customer service or field service role.
• Proven field service experience in a customer-focused environment, with problem-solving experience in electronics, electro-mechanical, or a relevant technical discipline.
• A full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Respond to breakdowns on customer sites, quickly performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on units to guarantee that our products operate to the required standards.
• Maintaining and growing customer relationships through excellent customer service and communication, and implementing any necessary corrective actions.
• Handling field service calls and issues that arise during field service visits in a timely and professional manner.
• Traveling daily from your home address to customer sites across the Midlands and further afield when required.
• Occasional pre-arranged nights away from home may be required.
