Field Service Engineer - CNC

£34-37k + Car + Bonuses etc. OTE £50k+
Regional Role with some UK-wide Travel

Job Purpose

To enable the company to provide efficient and cost-effective machine maintenance and service, with additional support to the Service Department through training in showrooms.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Carry out machine servicing at customer sites as required by the Service Manager.
2. Perform all electrical and mechanical work involved in servicing the machines.
3. Liaise with customer staff to ensure cooperation and availability of items needed to complete the service.
4. Identify all replacement parts required and ensure these are promptly ordered.
5. Return to customer site to fit replacement parts identified during the service at an agreed time with the customer.
6. Attend machinery breakdowns as and when required.

Skills & Experience Required

• A proven history/track record of repairs to CNC machinery.
• Strong mechanical ability.
• Competent electrical ability.
• Ability to work on own initiative.
