Multi-skilled field service professional required to install industrial and medical, cryogenic, non-cryogenic gas storage and distribution systems to clients in the Central London region.

Our client is part of a multi-billion-pound global organisation employing more than 70,000 staff in more than 50 countries and is recognized as a market leader in their niche manufacturing sector. Due to continued success, they are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Field Service Engineer to join their professional team covering the Central London University sector and surrounding area.

Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, the successful candidate will deliver high-quality installation and maintenance services across a regional client portfolio, ensuring that customer-owned equipment is correctly installed, operated, recorded, improved, and maintained in a safe, compliant, and cost-effective manner, providing the highest levels of service and operation.

Core duties include (but are not limited to):

• Installing industrial and medical, cryogenic, non-cryogenic gas storage and distribution systems according to standards and legislative requirements, and completing associated documentation.
• Acting as the Competent Person for equipment and ensuring timely completion of RoTE's / Written Schemes of examinations and planned maintenance.
• Advising customers on Pressure Safety System Regulations and assessing compliance of customer systems with relevant standards and regulations, identifying further opportunities.
• Managing remedial works and obtaining necessary customer approvals.
• Developing maintenance strategies in collaboration with clients and technical teams for new applications and equipment.
• Participating in out-of-hours emergency call rota to ensure continuous service.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies and SHEQ requirements, with timely documentation submission.
• Updating skills and competencies, adopting proactive engineering solutions to improve efficiency, customer experience, and reduce costs.
• Coaching and mentoring less experienced colleagues.

To qualify, candidates should have completed a time-served apprenticeship and hold at least a C&G / NVQ Level 3 in a relevant engineering discipline, with a minimum of 4 years' experience in technical maintenance or service engineering.
