Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Engineer for a mobile role along the Sussex coast, covering Chichester to Newhaven with occasional travel to Tunbridge Wells and Dartford. You will service, repair and fault-find on forklift trucks and related equipment at customer sites, with door-to-door pay and ongoing training.

The role offers a stable long-term position with strong earning potential and full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing and repairing cars, vans, HGVs, plant or similar equipment.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Are you a Vehicle Technician, Mechanic or Automotive Engineer looking to use your skills in a mobile engineering role, with door-to-door pay, ongoing training and strong earning potential?

On offer is an excellent opportunity to join a growing materials handling company that welcomes engineers from automotive backgrounds. You will receive training to apply your existing servicing, repair and fault-finding skills to forklift trucks and associated equipment.

Working at customer sites, you will undertake servicing, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs across mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems. This is a varied role offering independence, customer interaction and the opportunity to develop your engineering knowledge.

Due to continued expansion, the company is looking to strengthen its engineering team along the Sussex coast, regularly covering Chichester to Newhaven, with occasional travel to Tunbridge Wells and Dartford.

This role would suit a car, van or HGV technician, mechanic or engineer from a similar equipment background who enjoys diagnosing faults and wants a stable, long-term position with training and good earning potential.

The Role:
