Job summary

Pioneer Selection Ltd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service and repair forklift trucks and MHE across Bromley, Dartford, and surrounding areas. You’ll diagnose faults and carry out planned maintenance with autonomy to manage your diary.

Training and development are provided to stay current with equipment. The role requires hands-on servicing experience, qualifications in engineering, and a valid UK driving licence.

Qualifications

• Must have hands-on Servicing or Maintenance Experience.
• Maintenance experience of Forklift Trucks or Mobile Plant Machinery or HGVs or industrial Vehicles; hands-on experience in Electrical, Mechanical and Hydraulics.
• Recognised Engineering Qualification and Full UK Driving Licence are required.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain and repair forklift trucks and MHE at customer sites in your area.
• Fault finding, diagnostics and breakdown repairs with planned maintenance.
• Manage your own workload/diary with support from a technical back-office team.

Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: Covering Bromley and Dartford Areas (BR and DA, can live in SE)

Salary: £32,000 - £37,000 (40 Hours) or £36,000 - £42,500 (45 Hours)

Shift: Monday to Friday - 40 Hour or 45 Hour Week available

Job Role: I'm working with a market-leading materials handling business that's looking to add an experienced Field Service Engineer to its growing team. This role involves servicing, maintaining and repairing forklift trucks and a range of MHE across customer sites within your local area. As a Field Service Engineer, you'll be responsible for fault finding, diagnostics, planned maintenance and breakdown repairs, with the autonomy to organise your own workload and diary. You'll be fully supported by a strong technical back-office team and benefit from ongoing manufacturer training and development, ensuring you stay up to date with the latest equipment and technologies.
