Job summary

TipTopJob is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Mobile Vehicle Technician/Mechanic/Forklifts) to service customers in Kent and surrounding areas. You will work from a home base, visiting sites to perform PPM and breakdown repairs on forklifts and related equipment.

The role offers a company van, fuel card, overtime, generous pension options, ongoing training, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, and uniform/IT equipment provided. No extended travel is required, with most work within a local radius.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment.
• Ideally hold a Level 3 (or equivalent) in a relevant subject.

Responsibilities

• Carry out PPM and breakdown on materials handling machinery on a field service basis.
• Complete comprehensive training to become fully competent on all machinery and equipment.
• Spare parts stocked in the van for on-site jobs.

Up to A GBP 37,000 Monday to Friday 40 Hours a Week, 8am to 4.30pm or

Up to A GBP 42,000 Monday to Friday 45 Hours a Week, 7am to 4.30pm

Field Service Engineer role available in a highly successful and international manufacturer of forklift trucks.

The Field Service Engineer role will be suitable for candidates who have worked on cars, plant, forklifts, HGV, agricultural or similar equipment. If you are a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic looking for a change of industry and like the idea of being mobile role this role could really appeal.

Part of a team, youll be based from home carrying out PPM and breakdown on a range of forklifts, typically an hour maximum from your home location. No stay away or extensive travel is required. Overtime is available if desired mostly in the week.
