Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services for our technology solutions across the North-West UK. You will install, service and troubleshoot compressors, dryers and generators on customer sites, prioritising safety and performance.

You will log activity digitally, participate in on-call rotations, and attend regular training to stay at the forefront of technology. The role offers career progression within a global leader known for quality and uptime.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles.
• Mechanical or electrical qualifications or equivalent experience.
• Proficient with IT tools and service management apps.
• Valid UK driving licence with a clean record.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atlas Copco on-site with a customer-first approach.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose technical faults and deliver expert repairs with safety and efficiency.
• Log service activity using digital tools and maintain up-to-date records.
• Participate in on-call schedule and support urgent service needs.
• Attend live training and team sessions to keep skills sharp.
• Act as a brand ambassador and identify opportunities for improvement or added value.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety and innovation across the service team.
