Job summary

Atlas Copco Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide expert repair services on-site across the North-West UK. You will install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, and gas generators while maintaining safe, high-quality performance.

A customer-first approach and strong problem-solving skills are vital. Role requires hands-on engineering experience, a valid UK driving licence, and willingness to participate in on-call shifts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in industrial, mechanical, electrical, or engineering roles.
• Qualified or practical experience in mechanical or electrical fields.
• Comfort with IT applications and digital tools for service management.
• Valid UK driving licence with good driving record (no more than 3 points).
• Strong safety mindset and proactive problem-solving in fast-paced environments.

Responsibilities

• Represent Atlas Copco on-site with professionalism and a customer-first approach.
• Install, service, and troubleshoot air compressors, dryers, gas generators, and related equipment.
• Diagnose technical faults and deliver expert repairs safely and efficiently.
• Use digital tools to log service activity, maintain records, and report on performance.
• Participate in on-call schedule to support urgent service needs.
• Attend live training and team sessions to keep knowledge and skills current.
• Act as brand ambassador and identify opportunities for value-added improvements.
• Contribute to a culture of collaboration, safety, and innovation across the service team.
